State of Sheridan County Today. During this phase, the planning team created a report on Existing Conditions, trends, and policies in the County. The Existing Conditions report forms the background and context for the Plan.

  This report provides an overview of current conditions in the County including sections on current and projected population, employment, housing, economic activity, transportation, land use natural features, environmental hazards, mineral reserves, and facilities and services.   A Key Issues paper will describe the issues that the plan will work to address. The planning team will work with elected and appointed officials, the Citizens’ and Technical Advisory Committees, and public to identify issues.
