During this phase, the planning team has been working with the community to prepare strategies for achieving the plan and role all the work products from earlier phases into a draft Comprehensive Plan. An action plan will guide priorities for achieving goals and policies of the Plan. We are beginning to address implementation strategies. See the PDF below.

  With the community, the planning team will explore different strategies to Act the goals and policies of the plan. It will be important to prioritize actions to carry out the vision and goals of the plan.

• Draft and Final Comprehensive Plan
  The Comprehensive Plan will contain numerous chapters. These chapter could be organized by subject and convey the vision, goals, policies, land use plan, and implementation strategies. The appendices will also contain background and context information.Before adoption, numerous entities will help review and provide comments on the draft plan, including the Citizens’ Advisory Committee, elected and appointed officials, Technical Advisory Committee, and the public. The County Planning and Zoning Commission and Board of County Commissioners are the entities responsible for adopting the plan, once it is complete.
